Frequently asked
Agape Leadership Academy is a real, founded private school operating under state nonpublic-school law in each of its seven target states. The school is in active pursuit of accreditation through WASC — the Western Association of Schools and Colleges — and is operating within the standard new-school accreditation pathway. Agape's curriculum is adaptive, self-paced, and standards-aligned — College Board AP-approved and NCAA-cleared.
Agape students complete a college-preparatory program of study satisfying the credit requirements of every U.S. state's high school diploma standards: 4 years English, 4 years math, 3+ years science, 3+ years social studies, 2+ years world language, plus electives. Upon successful completion of the program of study, Agape issues a high school diploma. Transcripts are issued by the Registrar on official letterhead with the school seal.
No. Agape is a faith-aligned school, not a faith-based school. The distinction is operationally and legally important. No statement of faith is required to enroll, no religious test is administered, no doctrinal worship is mandated. Faith content is offered through four electives (World Religions, Ethics, Servant Leadership, and Statement of Faith), and students of every tradition — and none — are welcome.
Agape has a full-time licensed Special Education Director responsible for IEP and 504 plan execution across all seven states. The school can implement existing IEPs (with parent collaboration) and write new 504 plans within 30 days of qualifying request. The Special Education Director and a full-time Special Education Teacher coordinate accommodations with each student's Teacher of Record on a weekly basis.
Yes. The flexible self-paced schedule is designed so students can pursue extracurriculars, sports, part-time work, church activities, or co-op learning alongside their coursework. Many of our families choose virtual school specifically because it accommodates their student's life. The Special Education Director also serves as student-athlete liaison for accommodations and eligibility documentation.
Most families complete enrollment in approximately seven business days from the time they reserve a spot. Families with already-approved ESA awards can compress this to three or four days. Families with state-deadline pressure are prioritized — contact the school directly if you have an imminent deadline.
Email the school directly using one of the addresses above. We respond within one business day. For founding-class families, a 15-minute conversation with the founding principal is also available on request.
A founding class is, by definition, only built once.
